Could The Bucs Shake Up The Draft?

From ESPN.com:

This argument becomes moot if the St. Louis Rams take a QB at No. 1 overall — thereby freeing up both Gerald McCoy and Ndamukong Suh — but there seems to be a buzz building that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could take South Florida’s pass-rushing dynamo Jason Pierre-Paul at No. 3 overall. Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune reports that NFL draft analyst Mike Mayock indicated on a conference call that the Bucs should consider the DE if both DTs are off the board, eschewing WR Dez Bryant (the No. 3 player on Mayock’s board) and Eric Berry, considered by some to be the next coming of Troy Polamalu or Ed Reed.

I bet St Louis will take Sam Bradford, and Tampa will get one of the 2 defensive linemen.
St Louis desperately needs a decent QB.
I miss Tampa playing the Rams and Kurt Warner, back in the day.
The best offense vs the best defense made for a great game.

JPP as the next Gholston? One year in a mid level conference and be the third overall, it's just hype. I think if tampa doesn''t get to draft a big DT, they will be inclined to trade out and would hurt the chiefs ability to trade out at #5.

As the combine begins, just remember that most if not all of the NFL teams have their draft boards set. the combine might shake up the lower rounds 5-7, but not the first two rounds.

This is just an inspection /interview process.

As a side note, here's to an injury free combine for all participants. I would hate to see a young man lose out because of injury.

JPP probably will blow up the Combine. He has great athleticism. However, he is a one trick pony. If I was Tampa, I go DT or Eric Berry, period. Let someone else take a shot at JPP. He has huge bust potential.
