Vincent Jackson Pleads Guilty to Drunk Driving

San Diego Chargers WR Vincent Jackson has plead guilty to a 2009 DUI charge. He was sentenced to 4 days in jail and will be placed on

probation for 5 years.

This is already Jackson’s 2nd strike as he plead guilty to the same charge in 2006 and was placed on probation.

You have to believe the NFL is going to step in and levy a punishment on the star WR. I would expect Jackson to be suspended for at least one game and possibly up to 4 depending on how tough the commissioner wants to be on him. The NFL doesn’t look to kindly on repeat screw ups.

The Chargers, who usually get off to a slow start anyway, could be looking at an even tougher begining to the 2010 season if Jackson’s suspension begins the year.

Stay tuned.
