Raiders Troubles Continue

Remember last summer when Oakland Raiders assistant coach Randy Hanson “fell out of his chair” and “hit his face on a counter?”

Yeah, well that isn’t what really happened. The reports were rampant that Tom Cable, displaying the utmost professionalism, had an altercation with the Hanson and punched him in the face.

Now Hanson appears to be fighting back. From ESPN:

"Hanson’s lawsuit contains three causes of action — assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The suit claims the physical altercation with Cable left Hanson with a fractured jaw and broken teeth. The suit also alleges that Cable threatened Hanson by saying repeatedly, “I’ll … kill you.”The Raiders are aware of the lawsuit but would not comment Tuesday. Cable was not criminally charged in the matter."

That’s right. You read that correctly. Hanson is alleging that Cable said he would “kill him.”

Stay classy, Oakland.
