Darrius Heyward Bey is why Pioli wouldn't dare take a WR. That is similar thinking as post #15, but I am happy to believe that Pioli doesn't think that way. That is a Carl line of thinking, you know 9-7 every year was Carl's goal and it worked for HIM because he had a job for 20years.

This is related to #14. I wouldn't be surprised if Pioli went totally out of the blue with a WR. Now, now, before everyone goes apes$#t on me, let me explain. With Cassel being under such scrutiny and potentially making Pioli look like an idiot for signing him so big, I would not put it past the guy to do everything in his power to make Cassel look good. He might think the o-line did good enough after Charles changed the whole organization in 2009, so get a playmaker at WR to help out Cassel (and therefore make Pioli look smarter). Now keep in mind this isn't what I think would be the smart pick, nor am I saying this is high probability for Pioli to do, but rather it wouldn't floor me if he did something crazy and unexpected like this.

Also, don't be surprised if Pioli takes a player that we have not even been talking about (similar to Jackson last year).

A lot of experts think that the four most important positions are LT, DE, QB, and CB. That is why you might take a LT at #5, or say take a Mario Williams over crappy Reggie Bush, who seems to keep people interested by having a spectacular game every ten games and doing almost nothing for those ten in between. I like Haden and would not be disappointed with him as the pick. I also would not be disappointed with a LT. It is not a fun pick, but a smart one. Every one always says teams are built from the lines out.
