Senior Bowl Notes: North Spanks South In Senior Bowl

In a game uglier than Jason Whitlock in bikini, the North crushed the South 31-13.

I found it difficult to really evaluate the players in this game. The play was very sloppy and the players were obviously out of sink with each other.

Some players that caught my eye were Brandon Graham, Taylor Mays, Ben Tate, Mardy Gilyard and Sean Weatherspoon.

The reports were that Tim Tebow had a rough week of practice and if that is true he had an even worse game, completing only 8 passes for 50 yards. He also had a couple of fumbles, though there were so many in the game it was hard to keep track.

WR Mardy Gilyard was one player that I think may have played his way into the first round. I heard reports that he had some drop problems in practice but he really showed up on the field with 5 receptions for 105 yards and a TD.

In the end, it will likely be the week of the week of practice more than the game that will determine if players move up or down the draft boards.
