L.J. Not Expected To Return To Bengals

"Both Larry Johnson and Jeremi Johnson are free agents. Larry Johnson is not expected to be back while the Bengals must decide about whether to make an offer to Jeremi Johnson, who had an inconsistent year. One of the reasons why they signed Vakapuna was to get their future fullback on the roster. Depending on how things go with an uncapped year, expect the Bengals to try to approach Benson about an extension. He has one year left on his contract."

Are we really surprised? The Bengals didn’t even have L.J. active for their playoff game. I am sure that half a season with L.J. in your locker room is one too many.

Larry is done. He is over 30, he’s lost a couple of steps and he is pretty much useless unless he is running behind a very good offensive line that can open Jason Whitlock wide holes for him. I don’t see too many teams taking a chance on Larry this offseason, although, wit the free agent pool likely shallow, someone may take a chance on him.

If Larry is picked up, that team will likely be his final resting place. What do you think, Addicts? Where will Larry Johnson go to die?
