Gary Gibbs To Interview With The Dolphins?

From Arrowhead Pride:

We’ve got an interesting tip here. According to FootballCoachScoop.com, Chiefs linebackers coach Gary Gibbs is expected to interview for the vacant defensive coordinator position with the Miami Dolphins.

Last we heard Gibbs was supposed to be staying on the Chiefs staff. This would be an upward career move for Gibbs so I would not be surprised if he is interested. Teams usually don’t prevent assistant coaches from advancing their careers so if Gibbs would indeed be offered the job, I would expect Scott Pioli would let him go. We’ll keep a eye on this story as it develops.
