I was just reading on nationalfootballpost.com yesterday that rookie contracts are structured so that the biggest cap hit comes in the 2nd & 3rd seasons, so that salary for Dorsey & Albert should drop pretty significantly over the next season or two. Of course, Tyson Jackson’s will hit too.

Thanks for posting this, I was wondering when the salaries would be out.

    omg jmcgoblue….your stalking me lol!

I was curious about the salaries too. It’s amazing the money these guys make.

  3. SDChief says:

to me its just wild how our better players are the underpaid guys compared to others…

the way charles has played on O and ST, the guy should be…along with flowers as top earners…too bad they arent paid based on each year’s performance.

  4. Slack JAW says:

SDChief – now thats a novel idea pay for actual value…Bet the owners would love the idea. Than you wouldn`t be paying a lazy TURD like LJ or Jamarcus Russel for doing nothing….

  5. BigKills says:

ok great points everyone but ask yourself this? is anything these guys do REALLY worth 15 mil or 10 mil for a season? now they are great amazing athletes that perform on a level uncharacteristic to those of normal people but ponder this? instead of having a GD BLACKOUT mention the first since December 16, 1990 when our players make 15 million in a season and we have amongst the worst teams in NFL and Franchise history why not make a special on the tickets or do free parking to enthuase the few true still chiefs fans into actually WANTING to go to Arrowhead on home sundays instead of a “well i have season tickets anyways” mentality ? suggestions or comments proudly taken …..jason.jeclean@hotmail.com
