New Co-Lead Bloggers Announcement

by Chiefs

I’m hopping on a plane, so I’m going to make this short and sweet. But we’re super excited to announce the addition of two new lead bloggers — Andrew Crocker, aka Direckshun, and Patrick Allen. Both are Arrowhead Pride vets (big thanks to Joel and the gang for their assistance in this search!) and it really came down to them being proven as consistent creators of quality blog content. Andrew and Patrick are absolutely the right bloggers to lead Arrowhead Addict into the next decade. Look for Patrick to hit it hard immediately and for Andrew to slowly transition himself in, really revving it up once the new year hits. Give them a warm A.A. welcome if you would.

We had a ton of other good submissions, and I will be reaching out to many of you to see if we can find a role for you here at A.A. As previously mentioned, I’m sticking around in a columnist role, so I’ll still be posting occasionally, and the rest of the staff will continue to kick ass like always.

Couldn't be a better choice. Paddy is the man.

I second Adam on everything, thanks for all the submissions. I think we have made a great decision with these two bloggers and with everyone still at AA the community can be dominate once again.

I haven't talked about much of why I am MIA a ton now, but taking on the role of expanding FanSided as an every sport network has been a huge challenge. I am also a teacher and football coach, so my time just hasn't been there to contribute much to AA. I believe it is in great hands now, just like it is with Merlin, Double D, Jeremy, and everyone else here. I just want to thank all of you who made AA so great that we could do this for all teams. BIG THANKS!

I will still be around... :)

Btw Adam (if I mentioned this to you before my apologies), I believe that "hopping on" a plane is of no help if your goal is to depart on time. Generally, it's best to just proceed into the cabin and take your seat like the rest of the passengers and then wait for control tower to give your pilot the "cleared for takeoff" command. Hope this helps next time.
