It seems to me this season that when opposing defenses shut down the short stuff against the Broncos, and force Orton to try his luck deep, they absolutely smother them. I'm no NFL head coach, but if this was Madden I'd be playing a lot of shallow coverages and hope our secondary can stick with the wide receivers. That's just my two cents.
