Your Time To Vent

Posted by: jeremyhanson

Sorry Addicts; it is sometimes very difficult to get posts up when you are working so many hours on so many different things.

So, let’s hear what you have to think about the Chargers Game, the upcoming games, the upcoming offseason, Haley, Pioli, Whitlock, Dorsey, Charles, or whatever you want to vent about.

Go Addicts and Go Chiefs!

            BallHype: hype it up!

A team with limited talent that goes on the road aginst what might be the most talented team in the AFC & turns the ball over 4 or 5 times is going to get their asses handed to them every time…

  2. 2. Double D Says:

    Well put Slack.

    Jeremy,

I feel I have to go against the grain on this one and suggest at least couple of positives.

    1) I was at first skeptical of Chris Chambers ability to contribute. I was wrong. For the first time in years, we can actually say we have a receiver that can get separation downfield. At 31, he’s not a long term solution but for now, he is definitely one of the brighter spots on our offense.

    2) It’s a damn shame that Jamaal Charles was not allowed more pre-tweet touches. He is quickly proving himself to be a far more effective RB than LJ.

    3) Why can’t our LB’s ever seem to defend TE’s? I guess it’s just a hard thing to do when you have next to no pass rush.

    Here is my complaint:

GET RID OF NISWANGER’S RUDY POO ASS!!!! He is the poorest excuse for a Center I have seen in 20 some years of watching football!! I don’t care if we put Alleman at LG and move BW to center!!! Do WHATEVER THE #$%@ we need to do to get that sorry piece of dung off this team!!!

As for the turnovers in the game:

First that INT—No excuse, Cassel is being paid 60 Million bucks to play the position, he should have the common sense to move to the side to keep from hitting guys in the freaking helmet.

JC’s fumble—Not upset about this one. It was a player trying to get extra yards and if you watch the video he is trying to bring his other arm to protect the ball, but the defender isn’t letting him do it. All around a great defensive play by the Dolts.

2 fumbles from bad snaps–Already covered this one and I REALLY don’t blame the QB for something that stupid. Where was Rudy Poo’s head at???

KUDOS!!!!—-To our DEFENSE! YES! I said it. They held the Dolts to 7 points in the first quarter when our OFFENSIVE offense was not doing too horribly. I truly believe if the offense doesn’t turn over the ball or go 3 and out, our defense might have been a lot better.

God help these freaking Dolt fans at work when our Chiefs start beating the FUCK out of their dolts in a year or two or three..? I hate these fairweather fuckers.

  4. 4. Vrod74-MikeSD Says:

OH!! And if you are still not a believer that LJ was donkeying around with our team when he ran, check out the fuckers stats from the Cincy game. RAT BASTARD!!!

  5. 5. cclary Says:

With the way that the Chargers have been playing I really wasn’t expecting to win this game anyway. I still think that we will win 3 more games this year and wait for an exciting off season with no salary cap for next year. I think that we have been saving the money for that reason.

  6. 6. Slack JAW Says:

Geezus- Vrod your not screwin around when they tell you to vent…
But anyhow I don`t think anyone is going to say Larry wasn`t doggin it .He`s a spoiled little baby that got his way…

Rudys not the only guy on the o-line that needs to go but he should be the first…

  7. 7. chiefdom Says:

    Ok a little venting…

Niswanger really muffed up. Once is bad, twice is unforgivable. Not a good idea when your job (along with everyone else on the line) is already under scrutiny.

I miss Page. He seems to be the ONLY safety on the team with some sort of awareness. Is it not the safeties job to keep the play in front of them? Every time the Bolts went deep, I didnt even see a safety on the tv screen.

LB’s. While making some plays, we need SOMEONE that can play some pass coverage. Gates, while an amazing TE, really made us his b***h.

Bradley…Seriously…how many inopportune drops does it take to get cut? If that guy drops one more pass on third down…

Charles…The man right now. He just seems to fit the offense (lack of a line) and is quick enough to make the initial moves LJ couldnt make. I dont think LJ was dinking around with us. He had a DECENT game against the BROWNS. I could run for a 100 against cleveland. So he can go tweet himself into a coma (F*G…it had to be said).

I have liked some things from the D at times, but giving up over 400 yards a game puts a lot of pressure on an offense that really isnt that good. Work needed.

Offense…Sheesh I dont know where to start. A line, a TE that can catch the damn ball, a top WR that is smart enough not to get caught taking performance enhancers…

Overall suggestion…Haley use the lazer beams that come out of his eyes to sacrifice a player at the next team meeting. If that doesnt motivate them, I really dont know what will.

I’m glad we lost. More loses equals better draft pick. We need talent ASAP. As long as we are showing improvement in each of our loses i’m happy.

Also, can we get some real coaches any time soon?

  9. 9. shane.smith Says:

I anticipated a major ass woopin. I knew three in a row would be just to sweet! Oh well. I think there were some real positives in the game. As most of you already covered, JC & CC were fantastic. I think Castle played well and the first 18 minutes of the game we were more than competitive. Once the contest to see who could give the ball to the Chargers most started, the wind was knocked out of any hopes I had as well as the team. Take back the give aways and we were in that ball game. Who GIVES A RATS ASS WHAT THAT FAGGOTT LJ DOES!!!! Folks, he’s gone! I just hope the embarassment alone gives the team enough mental juice to put a serious ass woopin on the Donkeys Sunday. Tim, I disagree, draft picks tend do be overrated and I will take a W any chance we can get!

  10. 10. sthall20 Says:

Is there any chance the Chiefs, if they are serious about trying to get an OC, try to bring in Weis now, and is that even possible. I am just thinking, we all know that this season is kind of a loss and why not get your potential new OC in early and start working with guys, he has two weeks with Bowe not even having the remote possibility of getting hurt. It think it would be smart for them to try and pull the trigger on this.

  11. 11. Vrod74-MikeSD Says:

    sthall20,

I seriously think you are dreaming if you think Todd Haley gives up the OC part of his job. He loves being an OC and calling the plays. He is getting better at it with this team, although not fast enough for my taste. Could Charlie help this offense, ABSOLUTELY! He is known for turning offenses around as an OC. He just wasn’t HC material.

    Chiefdom,

Sorry, but the Defense SHOULD NOT be blamed for the loss to the Dolts! If the offense had actually done something with the damn ball when they had it, and by doing something with it I DON’T mean give it right back to the Dolts, the defense might have been able to hold off SD a few more times. I loved the 1st quarter when we foiled their two deep pass attempts to Jackson! He didn’t know what was going on!

    Slack JAW,

LOL! You are right. I am the type of person, don’t ask the question if you don’t really want to know the answer. I am sometimes too honest for my own good. Surprised it hasn’t gotten me fired from a job yet!!

    Tim,

Not to be disrespectful, but, your an idiot!! A high draft pick gets you 1 player. A low draft pick gives a team the option of trading and getting more picks. Let me make this clear—-WE NEED AS MANY PICKS IN THIS DRAFT AS WE CAN GET!!!! We have a LOT of holes as you keep pointing out and losing games to get a top 5 draft pick will not help fill those slots. But I will give you kudos for one thing Tim, WE SORELY MISS THE PLAY OF ONE BERNARD POLLARD. I saw some of his play in the Texans/Colts game and the man is playing pretty darn well, despite the loss.

DD: “3) Why can’t our LB’s ever seem to defend TE’s? I guess it’s just a hard thing to do when you have next to no pass rush.”

Not many LBs are built to cover today’s TEs. You need a big safety. You’re making a case for drafting Taylor Mays.

  13. 13. hmills110 Says:

Vrod: “First that INT—No excuse, Cassel is being paid 60 Million bucks to play the position, he should have the common sense to move to the side to keep from hitting guys in the freaking helmet.”

I agree. Cassel needs to improve his pocket awareness, or whatever you want to call it. Bouncing a pass off a defender’s helmet says he doesn’t get it. On another play, the pass-rusher had left his feet and instead of using it against him, he just wound up and let the guy knock down the pass. A QB with skills knows he has the defender at his mercy once he’s left his feet, but Cassel had zero street ball in him for that.

He’s kinda damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. We’ll castigate him for not seeing the open man, and _I_ will castigate him for not being able to use his feet to buy PLENTY of time against a 3- or 4-man pass rush. If if his O-Linemen are TREE STUMPS, he oughta be able to use them to pick 3 or 4 rushers and buy plenty of time with his mobility. He just seems very unsure of himself with regard to the difference between real and imagined pressure. The great ones make subtle moves that frustrate pass rushers.

  14. 14. hmills110 Says:

cclary: I think Pioli’s been sittin’ on the money because he wants to be RIGHT and not just spend it to spend it. I think there’s still some roster-wide upgrading to do in quiet ways before breaking the bank for a small number of costly moves.

  15. 15. RatsoReily Says:

Man it’s been easy getting angry watching the Chief’s this year. So here goes ..

First, I want to put a curse on Peterson/Edwards for the deconstruction of the KC Chief’s. We have them to blame for first, trading Jared Allen and giving LJ a nice juicy contract – talk about a smart move and did that turn out well. Second, cutting Casey Weigman because they had a young stud in Rudy “can’t snap or block” Niswanker – another intelligent move that has revealed their football IQ. Also, let’s not forget they traded a future hall of fame TE in Gonzalez. I assume Cassell wouldn’t mind having him as an option in the offense.
I have learned that a Team should be built around drafting an O-line. After looking at all our top draft choices on defense and looking at what other teams have done (i.e. the Donkey’s) drafting solid O-line players and the acquistion of experienced D-players it’s apparent we placed our emphasis on the wrong side of the ball. What the hell has Tyson done this year? He’s all but disappeared along with his teammate Dorcey. Why in the hell haven’t we drafted or acquired a decent linebacker core. If I see another game where our opps TE has a career day I think I’m going to scream. If you don’t have outside LB’s putting pressure on the QB it’ll never stop.
Next comes Matt Cassell, wow has he been underwhelming!! How many wide open receivers has he under or over thrown? Too many to count and too many to pay millions of $$ for. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a supposed “pro” quaterback literally drop a football when he went to throw a pass .. no pressure just simply drop the ball. Hell he doesn’t even have the weather to blame.
Finally, when is the Hunt family and Pioli going to realize you need to spend money to make money. We need to spend some serious $$ in free agency to get the quality players needed to be a contender. Short cut hell I want to see a winning Team and if we have one there’ll be plenty of tickets sold to support them. I don’t think there’s any better fans than a Chief’s fan … we will spend our hard earned $$ if we have something to spend it on.

Whew I do feel better .. now if only the Chief’s can win Sunday so I can a little fun on Monday at work :P
