Hmmm, let me think about that one for a minute.
November 11th, 2009 at 2:36 pmOk, I’ve got it.
I think we need to spend our first 5 picks in the 2010 draft on offensive lineman.
November 11th, 2009 at 2:36 pmI don’t know about you guys but I keep thinking about who were going to bring in as our O.C. I know it won’t be Haley after this year. Maybe Charlie Weis after he’s fired.

I am thinking along the same lines. The way I have Chief needs set up on DraftTek.com, We could take four offensive lineman: OT, OT/OG, OG, C, not neccesarily in that order. I also have NT as a pretty big need.
November 11th, 2009 at 4:01 pmgooge:
There is a guy in the employ of the Chiefs who is a very good OC. He has shown the ability to get production out of a less than talented group of players. We might want to give him a shot. Oh wait, Haley decided he could do a better job and demoted him. How’s that decision working out, Carl Spackler? Yes, I said it, right now Todd Haley is closer to Carl Spackler than Bill Parcells.
November 11th, 2009 at 4:04 pmLast off season everyone was ranting about defense. We were terrible on D. But looking back on the last 2 season’s rosters, are there many good (not great) players on that list? It’s not like Pioli/Haley was handed a competative team to start with.
I was initially very hopeful about Goff. I looked for additional info about his past performances, his injury history and such and hoped he could be a journeyman O-lineman for a year or two. While I was hopeful, I also had my doubts. I thought maybe Pioli/Haley saw something there I didn’t see. (more hope)
But then again starting offensive linemen aren’t just standing around looking for a team to join. But if the guys we got from Miami get injured, then what?
Home Depot says they can help. But are there any linemen from LSU not playing anywhere?
November 11th, 2009 at 8:13 pmMerlin, good point, at least 1 of those 5 needs to be a NT (Terrence Cody? Na-na-nagonna ever figure out his name . . . Suh?).
