I agree. Living IN the darkdays, as this is being called, is just that....darkdays. THIS project of a Chiefs team will take time and patience. First things first there has to be a willingness and a committment to winning. Believe it or not thats what Pioli and the boys are doing, not only with the players and staff but with the fans. They're seeing who's gonna stay and who should walk, and some tough decisions are coming. This years over, and so is probably next year. I'm afraid this rebuilding will take several years because truthfully, that's how far behind the Chiefs Roster when viewed up against an elite team. Soooooooooo, be patient everybody....Its gonna take awhile and some nifty moves on the Chiefs brass to right this ship. But please, don't trade any draft choices away, especially a #1.

If you jump ship on a losing team, I think you would be a "burning-wagon fan." I have three Chiefs tattoos and i still shave my head every time they win(arrowheads on my head.) I know that every game this year, we have fought to at least stay close. Until that pathetic performance hosting San Diego, I didn't think our record reflected how close most of the games were. I just hope they turn some of these close games into wins in the second half, and maybe hit next season with a little momentum. Go Chiefs!

I joke about switching to another team, but let's face it, I am a Homer and LOVE my Texans, er I mean Chiefs. I am disappointed we don't have more posts more often this year. We had a rough year last year, yet there were new posts pretty much every day. Are our Addict faithful writers too busy or just too tired of losing to post more often? I miss jawing back and forth with Senior Adam!!

In all seriousness, I am EXTREMELY disappointed at our showing against the Dolts! Yes they tons of talent, but they have only beaten one freaking team with a minimal winning record, Miami. Their other three wins are KC, OAK and OAK. We should not have lost that game by 30. We need to come up with some offensive firepower for the rest of the season to get these youngsters some more wins to boost confidence to win the division next year! We are in desperate shape and if they don't get more wins for the youngsters we might end up being the new version of the Clowns or the old version of the Cardinals that rarely won games. I am worried.

It might give you some street credit to say that sort of thing, but you have to know something about the KC teams during their down times. It's hard to find ANYbody in a winning season that you can dispute their "I've always been a KC fan" claim.

But we know who we all are, at any rate. One good thing about a sucky team is that the bloggers you find really care about football!
