On the other hand What happens when we start Croyle he has a bad game and then start Cassel the next week he has a bad game, Then where are we but placing blame on Pioli and Haley saying they can't spot a good QB and we should have traded Croyle and never signed Cassel . I hope we start Cassel and he is the franchise QB that I believe he is! Next, suppose that Cassel starts in week 3 and then struggles big time in weeks 3 - 7 (certainly a possiblity given the competition he'll be facing over that stretch). In starting Croyle this Sunday, might we unintentionally be inviting a quarterback controversy? Kind of seems like one more factor to consider in this decision.
