Cassel Declared Inactive, Croyle To Start

Posted by: Adam Best

Like Matt Cassel, I have been on the IR most of the week with a redonkulous fever, but you know I wouldn’t miss opening day. Apparently, Cassel is in a different situation, as he has been declared inactive (just announced on ESPN). Brodie Croyle will start today for the Chiefs, the operative word is “start.” I’m placing the odds at 2:3 that he gets knocked out of the game and we see Tyler Thigpen. Definitely downgrade Dwayne Bowe and Larry Johnson for your fantasy teams. And get ready for what could be a long, long opening day.

Broken Croyle the worst QB ive ever seen suit up in an NFL uniform to start. WHY????????
Thigpen is proven he can play and is the better QB .Stupid decision to start this loser over thigpen.

Did you see Thigpen’s last start? Not sure what I’m more sick of…the Chiefs and their losing or these Thigpen fans. Completely a toss up. THE GUY IS NOT AN NFL QB!!

I’m not sure that any of the top QB’s in the NFL could perform well behind our O-line,,,, both Thiggy and Croyle are less than we might hope for but I will still stand by Haley’s decision making,,, I really believe that in the end his leadership will give us the team we all want,, a winning team!! GO CHIEFS
