im glad they hung onto quinten lawrence, he has the potential to be a real threat ok kr/pr, our only other viable option would be jamaal but i DO NOT want out change of pace back returning punts and kicks. i can see him having success there but i dont want him to get hurt. quinten lawrence needs to fill the void we have there and bring back a simblance of what we had in dante hall

Chiefs have signed Ryan O'Callaghan from waiver wire. He was cut by New England, who performed their OWN right tackle search this spring, because O'Callaghan missed 2008, after a(nother) shoulder injury. Looks like he has a shot, but this doesn't look like a sure-thing cure to RT ills. Nevertheless, NE fans assure me that this was a very good player when he was healthy, but his shoulder forced NE to go in another direction, and he was beaten out.

We have to hope someone better than what we have gets cut from another team due to depth issues.

First couple weeks will be tough on our QBs, almost without question. But I like the looks of this cut-down and I see LOTS of upgrade material for the O-Line that could start bearing fruit by Week 3, and maybe even sooner.

I'm not sure if they'll go with Cassel, Croyle, or Thigpen Week 1, while this O-Line is still being sorted out. I can almost see Croyle starting, with Thigpen to bring some shake-n-bake to the red zone. Thigpen might have that kind of role with Cassel starting, as well.

Im not going to lie, my mood is directly related to madden. In this last off-season we have been getting killed in the stats department and they go and ruin our 2 biggest weapons. Thigpen and Pollard.

Its already hard enough to play with the chiefs... how do they expect us to compete....

grrrrr
