Yeah this is crap! I watched the game a couple of times this weekend and I firmly believe we have found our QB. I like Tyler, but think he might be a good option at WR or even KR. What does that sound like? It was nice to see Brodie take a shot and not get broken.

I'd also like to thank Corey Mayes for this week's freeze frame kodak moment. Favre, welcome back.

Wow. Those 1st two qtrs were crazy. Almost looked like we had a team or something thru most of it. One of the best run D's in the country, "contenders" looking to Favre to lead them where no Minnesotan has gone before (or at least in awhile). And we held our own? With an "unproven" QB leading our team?

Sure. Jared Allen didn't play. Sure there were mistakes. Mistake after mistake after mistake. And the Vikes gave us plenty of oppotunities with penalties that likely had Brad Childress pulling out whats left of his hair. But we played competitive ball against what ESPN says is a "superbowl contender".

I liked what I saw. Go ahead and knock Cassel. I think I'm going to go buy his jersey tomorrow and frame it. Did he make mistakes? Of course he did! He's not perfect. But wow! He did a heck of a job with that crap we have posing as an O-line! Great to see actual first downs and "real" drives against a legit D. Better still to see our D making it into the backfield disrupting plays and making stops.

By no means perfect. But this is a start to something that could be truly great. Nay-say all you want, 4-12,5-11,6-10, as long as we continue to get better with each game and use that experience to stay competitive, I'm thrilled about this ball club. I still don't see us beating Baltimore on their turf, but I think we could really give em a run for their money.

BBQ Im sorry but how many times do you think the Chiefs should make the mistake of relying on Croyle for anything? Sure he wasnt protected but Damon and Tyler survived with the same protection. If Matt goes down I think it would be nuts NOT to bring in another QB. In my mind Croyle has a great arm but has never contributed to the team in any way that I can think of.
