The thing about Pollard, to MY eye, anyway, was all those mistakes people’re saying the LBs should’ve been blamed for instead of him, just reinforces the fact that the LBs were giving (or trying to give) the DBs a lot more help. It looked to me like Gun protected his safeties from having to think much.

I think Brown’s a great insurance acquisition, and if he plays up to the level he did in Chicago, he SHOULD win the starting job, and it will mean that KC got BETTER at safety. At 100%, Brown is about as good as it gets. Having him on the roster at all should give the young safeties and corners a lot of veteran wisdom, too.

He has no business starting on an NFL defense.

Why Page is considered so much better? I think its just due to draft position, people got upset that we took pollard so early, he had an uphill battle from the start for a lot of fans, whereas page was looked at like this amazing pick due to position(which he was for a 7th rounder)

However, Page DOES get Beat more often, Page does well in the red zone, thats about it.

Pollard in my opinion is the better player, I dont understand how Teicher makes that statement

I actually think Brown is here for Page’s Job.

Why I am cheering from him is because now he can do a ton more good helping charities like the Humane Society and other organizations.

If no one gives Vick a second chance then he could end up in our prisons just wasting away tax payers money instead helping. He could help out more people then most people could ever have the opportunity too.

Now its up to Vick to show he has accepted that 2nd chance and is going to do something with it.

I think Page is probably a better defensive back. Pollard would certainly fit much better than would Page in a sort of “Loboback” safety/linebacker hybrid position, though.

The bottom line is that Teicher is kind of right when he says it would be a good thing. If Mike Brown wins, he was probably the better option and it was a good acquisition. Pollard could still play a pretty big role in the defense with his skillset and he could also focus on making a big impact on special teams the way he has shown us all that he can.
