Kool-aid is a great drink. I don't disagree with our need to build the front seven. I would have put Dorsey @ DE give him a year to see what he could do, no need for two DE's with our top two picks. If we didn't want Curry, I would have drafted DT Raji and gotten a DE in the third. We still might not have a DT.

Can someone explain our o line, and just how we are going to improve over last year. Our line got us to a third stringer and could not gets us 1 foot on several plays. The worst part of our team last year was the o line, we had two legit starters last year and three scrubs!!!

Kicker? TE in seventh? We could have had LB's Ellerbe and Beckwith.

Also to those who wanted to see all the moving and shaking like NE. We had nothing to deal with this year, but now have an extra RD 2 pick to work with next year. NE has been working for years to stock pile their picks and be able to make all the trades like they do every year. You have to build up a base to work with and that will take time.

JACKSON WAS PROJECTED IN THE TOP 10 OR 15. I just wanted to point out to all the crazies that think Jackson was projected late in the first or in the second round.

Prior to this draft there was a ton of Bitchin about how we couldn't play a 3-4 because of our personnel. We got arguably the 2 best 3-4 DEs in this draft and that has now changed. Dorsey won't play NT Tank will, and Dorsey will rotate as a DE, imagine that front 4 Magee, Tank, Dorsey Jackson in a 4, rotate Tank to nose and rotate Dorsey in a 3. This is not bad. Magee and Jackson are known run stuffers.

All of last Years DEs have been working out with the LBs so far, and we can probably bring Pollard down too.

I'd definitely wait and see how this turns out, it has some serious potential if coached properly and with proper defensive play calling.

Last year we all pretty much agreed that our Offense was capable of winning games if our D was capable of not losing them. With Cassel in town the Thigster is our Pat White that some of ya'll are raving about. I know Tony G. is gone from that offense, but the HC is now a former receivers coach (has to help D-Bowe) and I have a lot of confidence that Chan can work out something with what we have on offense. He adjusted masterfully last year.

I also think that a lot of last year had to do with how many rookies were starting and making mistakes. But those rookies will be starting again this year and making a lot fewer mistakes. I am excited about this upcoming season. We are gonna surprise a few people, it looks like mostly our own fans.
