Carl low balled it with a 4th, and even though he was a tough negotiator, he eventually budged and pulled the trigger on the trade for the second rounder. I think that pick was used for Channing Crowder, who would help right now, but I digress. When you want a player bad enough, and we did at that point with Surtain, a second is possible. The next couple of days leading up to the draft should be interesting. In short, I say nothing less than a 2nd rounder for possibly (if not definitely) the best player in history at his position. His work ethic in training has kept him in tip-top condition, despite his age. This is the best time to trade him and get something of tangeable value. I say let Tony go,,, oh he will be greatly missed and he will be leaving some big shoes to fill ,,, but it's obvious that Tony would like to move on and as far as I'm concerned he deserves to get his way,,,,needless to say I would much rather see us get a late 2nd as a 3rd,,,,,, now LJ on the other hand I could care less,,, I don't see him ever being beneficial to the TEAM,,, trade him for a box of rocks,,, I don't care.............
