Curry Shopping Himself Directly To Detroit

by Breaking News

The plot thickens…

Aaron Curry is reportedly shopping himself to the Lions — trying to upend Matthew Stafford as the Number 1 pick and turning the draft upside down in the process.  Curry said that he would accept a deal worth less than $30 million, which is what last year’s top pick, Jake Long, got.

Not to be outdone, Stafford offered his Chevy Tahoe as a trade in if the Lions drafted him.   His offer drew a collective “ooooooh” from Ford execs. /sarcasm

I think Detroit still takes Stafford with some reluctance — they need a QB but they might consider taking Curry.

What do you think Addicts?  Is our love affair with Curry over with for good?

Double D really sees things coming.

Um actually not....you bashed Curry and said " so is this enough for you Curry fans that want to pick him" please dont edit ur article then come at me...when you said this

Wow Chiefsfan_86- I don't know if Adam put something in this article about Crabtree that got you riled up but I posted this and it has ZERO to do with Crabtree, I think we should go O line.

Funny this article was edited...from making it sound like its coming from a Crabtree lover....I just see how you WR lovers...want to the chiefs to pick Crabtree or Macklin in the 1st round when WR...isnt even in our top 3 needs right now.

The Lions will only draft Curry if both Stafford and Smith's contract demands are exhorbitant.

The Lions taking Stafford increases our chances of trading our pick to the Jets or Redskins. Which I think has a slight chance of happening.

I'm actually starting to hope Curry is on the board and we take him. I can't believe I just typed that. Have you guys been reading any of his journal entries over at SI? It's good stuff. He really comes across as a kid that has his act together. He genuinely cares for others and I think he would be a great addition to the Chiefs on and off the field. What more can an organization ask for in a draft pick?

Sorry guys I feel like I've sold out to the dark side!

The Lions are not taking Curry. They have 2 stud LB's already. They should take Stafford/Sanchez first, then an OL with their second 1st round pick, and then take an LB or some defensive player with the 1st pick of the second round.

I also have to say that the fact that Stafford owns a Chevy Tahoe stands as a pretty good indicator of his poor decision-making skills.

And who in their right mind wants to play for Detroit? Now I have a legitimate concern about Curry.

This comes as no shock to me at all. In fact I've seen this coming for some time. What I can't understand is why anyone would think Stafford is worthy of the #1 overall pick. Any other year and he'd be lucky to be selected in the second round.

Has the first pick ever been a LB? Hopefully none of this will matter too much because supposedly we're already shopping our 1st round pick. I hope it works.

So...from this article, I can tell your the chubby club for Crabtree??? LOL you people just dont understand, WE DO NOT NEED A WR IN THE 1st ROUND!
Curry is the most talented player in this years draft...so get over it.
