@ sgt_ducttape

No doubt, the Raiders and Chiefs have some close games. Arguably the best division rivals of all time, I love watching Raiders VS Chiefs because no matter what the score is you never know what's going to happen.

Let's not forget The Raiders and Chiefs have the best fans on the planet, hands down.

To all Raider fans, I remember a few seasons ago your team was in the AFC Championship game, in the last game ever to be played in the old Foxburough Stadium and last second time out to "Freeze" Viniteri allowing the O Line time to clean a spot from snow for his plant foot. He kicked the winning field goal and won the game. I was rooting for you them, the Black and Silver was representing the AFC West. It wasn't that long ago the AFC West was the toughest division in the NFL. Hell, the Chiefs didn't get a plyoff spot with a 10-6 record one year.

2 years ago a coin flip decided who got the number 3, 4, or 5 pick and the Chiefs and Raiders were 2 of those teams. Now the Chiefs have some new front office folks and a fresh perspective. Maybe some new blood might help your beloved Raiders. We cheer for our teams and ache through the pain of poor performance. I know 2-14 was a hard pill to swollow for me.

19 years ago the final game of the season for the Chiefs was at Arrowhead against the Raiders. Who ever won won the division. The other team would be the wild card and play each othe again to move forward. I was there. Arrowhead was flat rocking. The game was tough and close. The Chiefs won so the very next weekend we did it all again at Arrowhead. Chiefs vs. Raiders. The Playoffs. Let me tell you it was another amazing game. The Raiders won that one though. Even so, it was two great games I will always remember. Thanks for the rivalry.

Nice riposte. I think you nicked his throat, raider4.

I'm a LOT happier this year, raider4, just because I'm tired of seeing undersized DEs run over in the 4-3. I'm tired of seeing the big DEs trying to play zone and/or chase down RBs in space.

I'm very hopeful about this Chiefs team, but after 2-14, you won't catch ME talkin' smack! Calm. Respectful. Humble. Yup. That's me, to a 'T'.

Chiefs have some good young players, and the decision to go stout with 3 guys in the middle, and free up some of those young players (and a few vets) to fly around the field. I can feel good about my Chiefs, again, and it's been a long time. Not since Carl Peterson decided that every QB who ever wore a '9ers helmet was a HOFer...

Should be an interesting year. So far the new regime is enjoying a honeymoon. They're sayin' all the right things, and Peterson and Edwards are gone.

Having said THAT, I really do like some of these younger players. Seems like some of 'em are realy players, and not overwhelmed by the enormity of playing in the NFL, like so many, ever since Martyball. These young guys want to make plays. They don't play like they fear shame so much as they lust for victory. And I give the old regime credit for bringin' some of those kids in and gettin' 'em on the field.

LOL this stuff is funny, let's take this section by section:

"This is where we have a big advantage over the Raiders, as we have an actual quarterback now in Matt Cassel."

----LOL You have a One Year Wonder, you think your offense is like the Pats LMAO!

"I think our defense will get a big boost from the home crowd. I can’t remember the last time we opened against the Raiders"

----LMAO! I do 23-8 HA! and by you saying you Think your defense will get a big fan boost, is basically saying your crowd has a better chance against the Raiders offense

You Match-ups are a joke

---- Tony G is a stud Tight end and he did give problems to Nnamdi, but you forgot one thing.....HE WANTS OUT!
----- Your front seven....WHAT FRONT SEVEN, Jamarcus Russell can probably carry your front seven on his back all day. You were DEAD LAST in sacks last year. Sorry, but that's a BIG IF!

One question: WTF have you guys done this off-season to get better other then grab a one year wonder and tired old veterans?

I have a few family members that are fans and we all rib each other about our teams. As far as Al Davis goes, I have been a Raider fan for 30 yrs.(insert joke here) and i have always said this team will get back on track when he gives up the ghost! I wish the Chiefs luck come this season and hope our hole division looks better this year, none of us looked all that great last year!

You don't get rid of trolls on your site by trolling other sites. Best you can do is set an example and be respectful wherever you go.

I think that Fader fans have a deserved reputation for trolling, and so the Fader sites DO get a lot of tit-for-tat trolls. And the cycle of pain continues.

You have to admit, though, camaro, that most objective watchers feel that Davis does a lot of meddling and reaching. The silver lining in his approach the next couple of years is that with an uncapped year coming, he might be able to reach for free agents to his heart's content.

About the only thing I've liked about Davis in the last 10 years is that he shares my respect for the cornerback position. Now if he could just keep 'em happy and take care of the rest of the team!

Ok, so here is the deal, I was just scrolling through the google raider news when it brought up this lame article! I usually don't pay any attention to other team websites. It just really urks me when people start talking about how bad the raiders are going to do this season, when if I remember correctly, the chiefs didn't do anything to exciting for the last few years either, we have plenty of chiefs, broncos, and charger fans that get on our sites and talk trash too! Just figured we could return the favor, as for spelling and punctuation, figured it didn't matter to a bunch of Missourians anyway! Hope the sentence police finds this more to their liking! Forecast for Cassel, another 47+ times on his back this year! As far as the Camaro goes, any time you wanna line something up against it loud mouth, let me know, we can run them for titles girls!

Usually don't respond to trolls, but it is a good sign when Fader fans have nothing better to do than troll KC sites! They DO still fear us!!!

Hated Madden for YEARS!!! Sorry to see him leave the booth. Probably spoke more straight football than any other color guy ever. Tho' Summerall was a sentimental favorite (from back in the John Fazenda years and "This Week in the NFL"), I think Al Michaels and John Madden were the best duo.

With those two, and maybe Dan Dierdorf (restricting his comments in number and only to the trenches), I might even leave the sound on!
