@ sgt_ducttape

No doubt, the Raiders and Chiefs have some close games. Arguably the best division rivals of all time, I love watching Raiders VS Chiefs because no matter what the score is you never know what's going to happen.

Let's not forget The Raiders and Chiefs have the best fans on the planet, hands down.

To all Raider fans, I remember a few seasons ago your team was in the AFC Championship game, in the last game ever to be played in the old Foxburough Stadium and last second time out to "Freeze" Viniteri allowing the O Line time to clean a spot from snow for his plant foot. He kicked the winning field goal and won the game. I was rooting for you them, the Black and Silver was representing the AFC West. It wasn't that long ago the AFC West was the toughest division in the NFL. Hell, the Chiefs didn't get a plyoff spot with a 10-6 record one year.

2 years ago a coin flip decided who got the number 3, 4, or 5 pick and the Chiefs and Raiders were 2 of those teams. Now the Chiefs have some new front office folks and a fresh perspective. Maybe some new blood might help your beloved Raiders. We cheer for our teams and ache through the pain of poor performance. I know 2-14 was a hard pill to swollow for me.

19 years ago the final game of the season for the Chiefs was at Arrowhead against the Raiders. Who ever won won the division. The other team would be the wild card and play each othe again to move forward. I was there. Arrowhead was flat rocking. The game was tough and close. The Chiefs won so the very next weekend we did it all again at Arrowhead. Chiefs vs. Raiders. The Playoffs. Let me tell you it was another amazing game. The Raiders won that one though. Even so, it was two great games I will always remember. Thanks for the rivalry.

Nice riposte. I think you nicked his throat, raider4.

I'm a LOT happier this year, raider4, just because I'm tired of seeing undersized DEs run over in the 4-3. I'm tired of seeing the big DEs trying to play zone and/or chase down RBs in space.

I'm very hopeful about this Chiefs team, but after 2-14, you won't catch ME talkin' smack! Calm. Respectful. Humble. Yup. That's me, to a 'T'.

Chiefs have some good young players, and the decision to go stout with 3 guys in the middle, and free up some of those young players (and a few vets) to fly around the field. I can feel good about my Chiefs, again, and it's been a long time. Not since Carl Peterson decided that every QB who ever wore a '9ers helmet was a HOFer...

Should be an interesting year. So far the new regime is enjoying a honeymoon. They're sayin' all the right things, and Peterson and Edwards are gone.

Having said THAT, I really do like some of these younger players. Seems like some of 'em are realy players, and not overwhelmed by the enormity of playing in the NFL, like so many, ever since Martyball. These young guys want to make plays. They don't play like they fear shame so much as they lust for victory. And I give the old regime credit for bringin' some of those kids in and gettin' 'em on the field.
