SDChief,

What are you talking about? Your post doesn't make any sense. I don't get what point you are trying to make with it. BTW, Tony G didn't go to UCLA, he went to CAL.

This is off subject, but its information missed on other sites

TONY G WENT TO UCLA, over at AP, they list a previous kc coach as a link, its frank gansz jr the ex special teams coach, family friend, and hes the one Tony is close to at UCLA, among others, just to point out frank is the ST coach there and has been under Neuheisel after being with Rick in Baltimore.

Shouldn't matter that it's with a division rival. He's going to SOME team, so why shouldn't KC garner a "draft pick profit" out of the deal? Giving up picks also would hurt Denver's attempts to make other improvements to their team - improvements that they need more than a costly QB prospect. After making a statement with the Cutler trade, why make it appear a blunder by giving up a lot for a replacement, when the deal for Orton was very cheap?

Heck, Denver prob'ly needs 2nd-rounders more than 1st-rounders, anyway. Good year for stocking-up on 2nd- and 3rd-round prospects, if you have the picks. Anyway, I kinda doubt McDaniels would want such a trade. If he DOES, then it suggests that the Cutler trade was sheer mismgmt of his people. Yeah, Cutler's kind of a young punk, but a good coach would snap him right outta that.
