Easy number one: David Jaynes.......Toss up for number two between Medlock, Craphonso Thorpe, Lake Dawson, Victor Riley. All bets are off if we actually drafted Lin Elliot ( cant recall if he was a FA or not ).

Elliot needs a catagory all his own. Damned fool.

1. Blackledge (I think this will get the most votes from people.)

2. Paul Palmer (I still don't know what we were thinking taking a kick returner and turning him into a full time RB)

I saw Dale Carter listed above and that guy played well! He got in trouble later on in his career but he was far from a bust.

Morris and Charles Rodgers are kinda in the same boat. I think Rodgers would have actually been really good if not for the injuries. I have seen every Chiefs draft since 93 and I gotta say the worst one I have seen is Junior Siavi. He was almost a 1st rounder, and he never showed up. At least the other guys have injuries as excuses or held a roster or even starting spot for a while, but Siavi was a straight up ghost. For being such a lard ass he sure went missing easily. Oh well, heres to a good '09.

I wouldn't say Sylvester Morris was a bust. His career got derailed by injuries, not lack of talent.

From what I've been told, Blackledge should be one, but I'm going to stick with players in my lifetime. My top 10 all-time Chiefs draft busts are as follows:

1. Trezelle Jenkins - What a waste. This guy did nothing even worth discussing. This makes him the clear winner. He had no excuse for his failures.

2. Junior Siavi - Another waste. No excuse, but for a lack of heart. And what's sad is, coming out of college, I believed that heart was what was going to drive him. I know he wasn't a number one pick, and some that follow were, but he was our first pick of that draft.

3. Dale Carter - I can't believe he's not first on everyone's list. This guy really could have been special. It's too bad he was mentally challenged.

4. Victor Riley - Is hard to believe this guy was a first round pick. He also ran into his wife and kid as hard as he got knocked around by defensive lineman.

5. Ryan Sims - I lose credibility for this one, because I rooted hard for this Chiefs to draft him. He only makes it down to five, because the Bucs have had moderate success with him.

6. Sylvester Morris - I actually feel bad this guy got hurt so much. He wasn't half bad.

7. Carl Peterson a.k.a. Kris Wilson - This one is all Carl. When this guy was picked, every Tony Gonzalez fan shat himself wondering why the hell we would draft a TE so high, and Carl tried to convince us that Wilson was the next Kordell Stewart (o.k., that's a stretch, but COME ON!!!)

8. Justin Medlock - I know he was a fifth round pick, but every "expert" on the planet knew this was a mistake but our "experts".

9. William "what's my shoulder look like" Bartee - this guy acted as if he had an Elizabeth Collar around his neck.

10. Brodie Croyle - If it weren't for Herm licking his chestnuts, he wouldn't be here. Poor Brokie is proof that heart and character doesn't always get you to the top.

And I'm going to throw in a little extra somethin-somethin since I've seen people mention this fellow as a "flop". The most UNDERRATED Chiefs pick of all time is Greg Hill. People can say all they want, but him getting stuck behind Marcus ruined a potentially solid career. That bad luck followed him to the Lions where, before a broken leg, he was leading the league in rushing.
