A quick comment on Travis Daniels before we kick of the Reader Mock. I’m not exactly going to celebrate a guy who wasn’t good enough to be retained by the 1-15 2007 Dolphins and then had 5 tackles in seven games for the Browns last year. Sorry, Chiefs. Nice try.
His new nickname is Dime. Travis “Dime” Daniels. Because he’s only worth about a dime? No, but close. Because the only time he’s going to see the field is on special teams and maybe, maybe when we go dime package.
Every team has to have warm camp bodies and sometimes guys turn it around, but knowing Daniels and his game from back when I lived in Miami…I’ll just be nice and say I’m not impressed with his game.

Not impressed with his game? How much tape did you see of him last season…he was stuck behind Wright among others….
yes, its a camp body, but it should be noted that he played in a 3-4 last year, which none of our corners did(maybe he can show them a thing or two) and has ties to parcells as well…does this mean he will succeed? No…but we did need a 4th corner…and now, with 4 CB’s. 4 Safeties, 2 Solid QB’s, this team can turn the focus away from DBs and Qb’s.
It was a spot we needed to fill, why not get someone with a little experience to give some pointers to our young guys.
