McDevil! I'm McLovin' It!

We always say buck the Froncos, but this time Broncos fans are actually saying it themselves. In the past few days, some outraged Broncos fan has launched the site Keep Jay Fire McDaniels. The site dubs Josh McDaniels “McDevil,” and demands that he be fired.

On February 28, 2009 Josh McDaniels sealed his fate in Denver before ever coaching a game.  McDaniels was actively trying to trade our best player, and the face of the Denver Broncos for a mediocre QB that wasn’t good enough to start at USC over Matt Leinart.  Yes, the Matt Leinart that rides the pine in AZ.  As if this wasn’t enough, McDaniels (along with Brian Xanders) is rumored to have offered our first round pick as well to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  To recap, that’s a first round pick and the face of the franchise in exchange for a backup QB.  Cutler is rightfully upset about this and we are too.  Please leave your comments below letting Josh McDaniels know how you feel about his attempt to sabatoge our team and franchise.

That’s some serious hateration on Matt Cassel (are you so angry that you can’t even write dude’s name?). Who cares. We’re very happy with our quarterback, coaching staff and front office included. The Broncos cannot boast the same claim. At least our QB doesn’t look like the third Manning brother with a more severe case of cerebral palsy. Ahem, Jay Cutler.

I still say this is far and away the single best thing about the Cassel trade. I love that it has nearly caused a Broncos Nation civil war. I guess that sometimes I like seeing the Broncos suffer even more than I like seeing our Chiefs succeed. Missouri loves company, I suppose.

i was just wondering, i used to have a chiefs hat with lightning bolts on it i think. anyone know what im talking about? i can't find a pic anywhere. please help.

As a Chiefs fan, I certainly want to tell Jay how much of a ratty ass move that was. If it were me it'd be hard to give my all for that 'guy'.

Rumor has it the Tory Holt may be released by the Lambs...er Rams

Everything going down in Denver is karma for when Portis ran for like 5 TD's on us. This feels awsome. "Weasley little fag QB of theirs." I've never heard such a spot on analysis of Phillip Rivers. You certainly have a way with words.

Jrick,

Since that jibe was aimed at me, I would just like to say take a hike donkey dick. Screw you and the donkey you rode in on.

JRICK at least it IS OUR OWN blog site you F*ING LOSER!!! Go cry on your own web site coward. It's a good thing you'd rather have your debacle (spelled correctly because you can't) because that's exactly what you got - and have fun with that whole situation, I'm sure an unhappy QB is going to do wonders for your season.

Chiefs fans are amazing... The Broncs step in it a bit, obviously, but because you end up getting a qb that played for the first time in a decade on an all star offense and a has been linebacker and suddenly you have something to not bury your heads in the sand about! Even in dis-array we'll still finish ahead of u as usual, while you finish in ur annual quest or a number one draft choice. I'd still rather have the Cutler/McDaniels debocle and rebuilding defense probs then have ur situation in Chef town. A coach without a pulse, 2 decent players on ur entire roster and fighting with the raiders to avoid last place while kissing the chargers A** on ur OWN blog site!!! NICE!

I agree 447, Engram has had one 1,000 yard season in a 13 yr career, last year the guy didn't even reach 500 yds receiving. harrison would be better than engram but i still dont understand bringing in aging receivers just a few years younger than our head coach! we need veteran leadership but we also need good production

I work with a major Donk fan. Actually I am his boss so he can't say too much. (chuckle, chuckle) He is totally sobbing in his beer about Cutler (boo hoo) and McDaniels (boo hoo) and the Chiefs trade for Cassel (boo hoo) and how that trade was awfully shady (boo hoo). Man it is great! I can't wait 'til we whip their ass and send them home with their tail between their legs this fall.

Just read that Engram left KC without a contract. That is a relief. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of signing him.

I'd like the Chiefs to look at Devery Henderson, Antoine Crowell, and Igor Olshansky.

If we're goin after Engram, I say why not Marvin Harrison? At least he's done something over his career.

Who cares if Cassel started in college? We don't know the reason why he didn't start then. His skill set could have been similar to those he backed up but he didn't play because of politics or public relations.

Does anyone remember a guy named Priest Holmes? He backed up Ricky Williams at Texas. Signing Priest worked out pretty well, eh?

Sooo, i here that bobby engram is visiting the chiefs. Really? Engram?? Come on KC, we dont here a peep out of you yet this free agency and the first visit we hear about is to host a 36 year old reciever on the downside of an average career. I have to say that i dont agree with this, that is if they sign the guy. i think there's better (younger) options out there for WR and not to mention, how about we bring in some defensive free agents and interview them, perhaps olshansky?

Engram no, unless he is dirt cheap, (veteran minimum)

Coles wants over 6 million a year, so no!

If you want someone old go Joey galloway. lol

What about taking a flier ( a reckless or speculative venture) on Jerry Porter? Reggie (pot head ) Wiliams?

Being the #1 CHIEFS fan from Colorado Springs I am eating this shit up! These donk fans out here have their panties in a major bunch, something is on every night in the local news about it. I am lovin it. Can't wait to go to mile high this year in my freinds season ticket seats and watch the CHIEFS destroy them on their own turf. All my buddies are callin foul on our trade with the pats. Like mama said, they're just jealous.

Hey Buck I would go after coles or look elsewhere.
I dont see Engram being even a good coach to the WR's. However like I love to say
"In Pioli we trust"

Ahh all is right with the world. DT is in Canton, we have our QB, and the donkeys are melting down before OTA's. This is a nice time to be a Chiefs fan.

So tangent here, but would you rather sign B. Engram, Coles or look elsewhere?

Who cares who started over whom. Sometimes you have dumb ass coaches, for one thing. Everyone who has ever played an organized sport knows that. Sometimes a player blossoms after they reach the big stage of the NFL. No one knows how or why, it just happens. I think Cassel is the man until he proves otherwise.

It is a little harder to hate the Chargers for some reason. However its not to hard to dislike that weasely little fag QB of theirs.

So I'm just about sick and tired of people saying that Cassel must suck because he "couldn't start over Matt Leinart in College" Really? Did anybody else see Leinart play in college? He was slightly above average. And to try and compare Cassel sitting behind Leinart in College, to Leinart's NFL career. Yea, the same career that started 3 yrs ago. I know he has struggled thus far but two things; 1. QB's don't exactly set the world on fire in their rookie year. 2. Its really hard to be a good QB when you break your collarbone and play 5 games.

He may not have played this year, but if you go back to preseason (against our Chiefs I believe) Leinart was playing pretty damn well and it wasn't a foregone conclusion that Warner would start.

So, (not anyone in particular, I've just been hearing it) stop discounting Cassel cause he sat behind a stud in College!!!!

Can we go ahead a pi$$ off the raiders too please!

The bolts are safe i don't hat them as much as i do the faiders or the donkey's

Anytime the Broncos are in total foment and disarray, it is a good thing.

The fact that Josh McDaniels and Pioli think Cassel is so good they both tried to get him tells me everyhting we need to know.

Chiefs 1 Broncos 0
