u forgot that Gunther had to switch from his scheme to the Cover 2 scheme of Herm, and yeah, i guess ur a bit right. It’s about using a scheme that brings the best out of ur players.

oops as i was saying….the eagles blitz pretty much every play and the Cards still picked them apart in the championship game….and lets not all forget what gunther was able to do with our defense in the 90′s and im pretty sure he didnt forget how to coach. So that would lead me to believe its more about the players playing solid smart football and not just flying all over the place and getting themselves out of position….just my 2 cents

Adam, I am just recovering from the “herm era”. I can see him as linebacker coach, maybe. DC no way. Looked at his resume’ not very exciting. Defensive rating was 13th in year one with Saints. Downhill from there. Remember this guy had a great offense out there with Brees and company. This NFL circle game can be a little annoying at times. This is going to be a very interesting year to say the least. I just hope it is interesting’ “good” not interesting, “oh crap”!
