Would you rather the NFL be a joke when it comes to diversity like NCAA Division 1 football? 3 out of 117 coaches are black? In an age where we've come far enough to have a black President, that is a joke! The Rooney Rule applies to all minorities, by the way. Guys like Norm Chow and Ron Rivera fulfill the rule as well. The Rooney Rule is necessary. Hopefully, we are approaching a point where we won't even need it any longer. For now I think it needs to remain a rule. The Rooney Rule is not lame at all.
