After reading this little article about Johnny Robinson I wanted to make a few comments on how Mr. Robinson influenced my life many years ago while I was a 10-year-old K.C. Chiefs fan sitting right behind the bench with my dad during the early years. Johnny was an outstanding athlete on the field and an exceptional person to this youngster off the field. I met him at several of the Chiefs luncheons downtown and he was/is a class act. I pray that God continues to bless him and really appreciated the beautiful memories he left with us in his playing days. I live in Minden, LA., now and am so glad to hear that he is doing fine and helping out the kids like he has been doing since 1980. If there is anything I can do in behalf of the youth center, please do not hesitate to contact me. DAVID DIX at 318-268-6437

Johnny Robinson brings a few memories to mind. the interceptions were memorable, but even better was nobody ever got behind him. he didn't miss tackles. he was, along with jerry mayes my favorite player. i don't know why he isn't in the hof, just because there are already several chiefs from that defense in most likely.

Wow, he used my quote! And I still think Johnny Robinson should be in the HOF and I hope he makes it in whiles he's still alive. The guys been retired since 1972 (2010-1972=38 years!). I thinks it's time to induct him.
