Shanahan To Lead Chiefs?

Jack Harry, sports anchor for Kansas City’s NBC affiliate KSHB is reporting that the Chiefs are within 48 hours of making a decision on who will be the head coach in 2009 and that the leading candidate is ex-Broncos Head Coach, Mike Shanahan.  Now I consider Harry to be a bit of an over-opinionated blowhard when it comes to his sports “reporting” style and he has been completely off the mark with these kind of rumors in the past so I have to take all this with a big grain of salt.

I don’t consider Shanahan to be all that terrific of a coach personally. I tend to believe that whatever greatness Shanny may possess is more a product of his good fortune in being associated with one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game than anything he’s ever done on the sideline.

Nevertheless, if this does go down as rumored, I am curious to know how everybody would feel about it.

Where do you come down on this fellow Addicts, is he the Shanaman or a Shanasham?
