He saw a lot of snaps this season and didn't have much in the way of backups that could spell him. He'll be fine. For one thing, Savage was one of the first guys to really help improve the return game. That alone deserves some kind of award in my book. As far as Charles is concerned, yeah, fumbling was a bit of problem but that's the kind of thing that can be corrected pretty easily and besides, it's pretty hard to argue that were any better choices available at that point in the draft (early 3rd round) - Steve Slaton or a couple of WRs maybe and that's about it.
