New England Patriots vice president of player personnel Scott Pioli has agreed to become head of football operations for the Kansas City Chiefs, two NFL sources confirmed to ESPN’s Michael Smith.

All I know is that if it takes until the Superbowl to get a GM, the more likely it becomes that next season will be a total waste regardless of who the HC is because until that decision is made, much of what needs to be planned for next season remains on hold. We’re losing valuable time here folks.

Another possibility regarding Pioli and the HC issue is that it could be that the coach he wants is not even on the market at this point. Holmgren comes to mind.

Actually, I’ve been thinking maybe Clark wants someone within the Steelers’ organization. Not a bad franchise to model a team after. Not a clue who he would be after though. Here’s to waiting and hoping for a good pick… wherever he comes from.

Ahhhh DeCosta – Ryan sounds delightful but Ryan is gonna be taken (unofficially) soon I’m scared…but, yes, the Ravens have cock blocked everyone to steal from someone the other day…
