Time To Meet Your Maker, Landry Hat
Tony Gonzalez was the only tight end named to the All-Pro First Team today. It’s Tony’s fifth selection to the team. In light of Tony’s selection, we wanted to pull up a quote from our sister site The Landry Hat. This quote is from back on June 8:

Not only is Tony G. starting in the Pro Bowl and an All-Pro selection, but he also lead all tight ends in receptions (96), yards (1,058) and touchdowns (10 touchdowns). As much as I have enjoyed watching him every Sunday over the years, I hope he gets traded this offseason. I want to see Tony G get to a Super Bowl before he is done. TDs: 10, Tied for 5th overall (including WRs and TEs). MORE THAN WITTEN AND TIED WITH T.O.
In fact, there was only one player in the league who had a combination of more yards, catches, and TDs than Tony G when it came to catching, Larry Fitzgerald, an elite receiver in his prime.
Tony G isn’t just the best TE ever, he’s also one of the top 5 RECEIVERS in the game today. Boooya.
