I think Tebow is a good quarterback in the same vein as Joe Kapp was a good quarterback. He is more of a leader. He can scrap and he can make some plays. I do not think he threw as well as Bradford. Bradford's two INTs were not on him. Both were passes that could have been caught. The throws were not far off the mark. I think Bradford will make a very good NFL qb if he can keep his confidence. IMO the Sooner play calling lost the game. Re Tebow - His INTs were horrible. He threw blindly into coverage on the second and telegraphed the first so badly that I might have been able to intercept it. But he only had 2 INTs all year until Thursday. Tebow may do well in the NFL because he can stand the beating. I do disagree about Vick. Vick was always a great - and fast -running quarterback. That was what made him so special. He was never a great passer. He had a strong arm but was not as accurate as he needed to be.

I know...I want to see him try that cute little jump pass against Ray-Ray and Ed Reed. Or try to bowl over Jams Harrison and Troy Polamalu.

With the hype surrounding Tebow, I expected to actually see a "Superman" effort, since the announcers made the point of calling him Superman nonstop, but I didn't see it. He did enough to win, but he didn't set the world on fire.

I remember watching Vick at VT in the national title game, and thinking I was seeing something that doesn't come around very often. I almost think that Tebow needs to be compared to someone like Vick, because they both stand apart as very unique and not easily classifiable QB's.

Vick worked in the NFL because he had the arm, but he also was insanely elusive, and had the eye for the big play.

Tebow on the other hand, is not elusive, and relies on bowling guys over in college. That is not going to happen in the pros. I didn't see any great reads or throws from him, and he wasn't asked to carry the team like Vick had to. I don't see him becoming a pocket passer, and that circus stuff isn't gonna cut it in the big leagues.

PS: I have nothing personal against Tebow, he seems like a great guy.

He was a wide reciever, a punter, and a running back during his high school years... oh wait. I am thinking of Thigpen not Teabow.
