Stray Arrows: Bob Stoops And Jerry Jones To Form Unholy Union?

AUTHOR: Adam Best | IN: Chiefs | COMMENTS: 4 Comments

Happy New Year! Let’s kick it off with a fun one…

Jerry Jones is mulling over bringing in Bob Stoops to coach the Dallas Cowboys? That’s the rumor my old man heard from an NFL insider he met while on his annual snowmobiling retreat up in Packland (also known as Wisconsin). Ugh. The Botox and the Buttocks. Is it even possible to concoct  a more dispicible hypothetical football marriage? Not if you ask me.

We all know Jerry could afford it, but the potential move remains highly unlikely. I don’t think their egos could coexist in the same state, let alone under the same roof. Besides, Wade’s Jerry’s guy, er, more like bitch, and Stoops would have to be stupid to leave Norman to coach Jerry’s kids.

Anyway, thought it was good for a chuckle. Gotta keep ourselves entertained while we anxiously await the big GM announcement.

Actually starting to make sense Stoop got $3 million bonus last night for staying 10 years.

Jerry Jones is a big game hunter. I expect him to go hard after Cowher and Shanahan. Stoops is an excellent college coach. He needs to stay a college coach.

The coin spin on the Sooners is they have the lowest percentage of graduating athletes in the Big 12. Some may be leaving for professional sports and the paycheck. But I can’t help but wonder if the bulk of the athletes are being properly served by thier university. Texas Tech has the best athlete graduation rate in the Big 12 but then you don’t see a lot of Red Raiders in the NFL either.

Jerry Jones is an egomaniacle A$$ pirate. Unfortunately for the ‘boys the owner has a nutjob for a GM. He should write himself up for poor performance. Lord knows he won’t fire himself or even take responsibility for his destructive descisions.
