If we don't trade, I think Crabtree is the only player worth the 3rd pick.

The most ideal scenario would be to scare Seattle into trading up so we can get more draft picks. That is if Crabtree is that important to them.

I think that 3 is too high for Orakpo. I'd like to see the Chiefs draft Stafford. This organization needs a franchise qb. Thigpen was a nice story, but the guy can only play in the spread, underthrows the deep ball, locks in on his receivers, and is not very accurate (He should be able to have a minimum 60% completion percentage in the spread offense).

It is well known and very evident that good pass rushers are more widely available than face crushing run stuffers. Draft wise, good pass rushers can be had as late as the 5th rnd, while run stuffers go quick, first two rnds at best. UFA wise, teams are much more inclined to hold on to run stuffers than pass rushers, its just the way it is. Mauluga is a beast, has been for 3 yrs, watch him and take him 1st. Get the pass rusher in second round. A STARTING run stuffing beast will not be available in the 2nd. Bank on it!

We need to trade down. I think it looks good, some teams (49ers, Texans, Da-Bears) will want to vault over Seattle to get Crabtree or he will be gone. We can then shore up with DE, LB, OL, LB, LB, LB, DB.....

I am scared that Gross and Suggs could easily resign with their current teams. We need to have several options and be serious about our offers unlike the King Carl era.

First and foremost we need to sign Suggs and Gross. We have the money and the needs. I don't think Cassel is worth the money he will be asking. I like Thiggy Smalls better and with Quinn Grey as back up.

So with our first pick I say if we can trade down, do it. I would like to see us get MAUALUGA!! With the 3rd pick only Crabtree is worth that spot.

Please trade LJ and get more draft picks!!!!
