AADQ: Coldest Chiefs Game

by AADQ

Yo! Been out of the loop a little because I turned 30 this weekend and have been on a lil’ vacay celebrating my oldness with the fam back in Missouri. No Arrowhead Advantage today or vlog tomorrow, but I’ll chime in Monday after going to the game. Speaking of the game, it’s going to be like watching a football game in Siberia or something. That being said…

What is the coldest Chiefs game you have ever been to?

Coldest one ive been to was the coldest game in Arrowhead history- 2008 against the Miami Dolphins. Wind chill was literally -20 degrees. COLD!!!

I think that he thinks he will be back

I absolutely think he is gonna be gone...I think if the new guy doesn't get rid of him he will use the "toll of so many heartbreaking losses" thing and resign (not re-sign, lol)....

31 pts against a team that hadnt allowed a TD in over 12 quarters...not bad if you ask me...Defense got worn out...

Thanks for the Happy B-Days, everybody! One wish was a top-three pick -- got it. The other? No more Harm. We'll see on that one, but I think he's toast.

Walter Football is a real good one. We have our own one -- http://nflmocks.com -- that really gets rolling around this time of year.

What is the best Mock Draft site? Need to start watching!

Yeah it has to be today's game. I think I heard it was the coldest game in arrowhead history.

The coldest Chiefs game I have been to was probably in Arrowhead against Denver back in 1996? Bono was the QB, and it was grey, windy, and very cold. Then a few years ago against San Diego, where Tynes kicked a 53 yrd. game winner as time expired ... very cold and windy again ... I usually go to games in November, so i haven't been to but a few cold games. Happy Birthday Adam!

Happy Birthday Adam! Life only gets better from 30. This is definitely one of the coldest I can remember.

Possibly. If my arthritis doesn't keep me from typing!

Happy bithday, Adam. Will you be taking over the 'This Old Chief' column? ;)

Before I went to the home-opener this year (which was colder than normal), the last three I went to were all freeeeezing. I think Jacksonville at the end of '06 was the coldest cuz there was no sun and quite a bit of wind. But if that is the coldest I can remember I have nothing on some of you all, surely...

*We should recognize, in response to NFLN's coverage tonight. That the Chiefs HAVE drafted a franchise quarterback in their history. They, along with the Cowboys, drafted Roger Staubach in the 60's...hahaha...Oh, they had to have played for us??? Oh, crap...lol
