Tony G has already campaigned in the media for Thigpen to be the QB next year and asked to get traded in mid-season. So, I don’t see where the ‘he is too professional to say something to the media’ comment comes from.

I believe players will respond to their job jeopardy just knowing their performance will be reviewed on tape.

As for the comments about Herm’s future. Whomever the GM becomes, a system will come as well. That system will dictate Herm’s future. If I am the GM, I bring in my own staff who I know and everyone understands that system. From the ground up and that includes Herm.

Also, watch for reaction from Tony G after the GM is selected. Another year, another system OR retire. He is too professional to say something to the media, but watch for actions.

I have never been a Carl Peterson basher, but I think the hiring of Herm Edwards as head coach alone warrants the dismissal (i.e. resignation) of Carl Peterson.
