A future without Carl doesn't bode well for Whitlock. You can liken his writing to the likes of Guiliani's banter when running for president... a noun, a verb, and an insult for Carl Peterson. I wish I had the unconscionable ability to criticize the worst attributes of one's character and then the gall to call myself a journalist. I'm not saying Jason doesn't have skills, he just hasn't challenged himself. Much like his physical attributes, his writing has grown sloppy and lazy. Strike that, maybe I could be a journalist!
