For Iowa State, Kansas, Mizzou, Nebraska and Oklahoma fans who also cheer for the Chiefs, the big news Sunday night was like having to brush your teeth with a toothbrush you just scrubbed the crapper with earlier in the day. For us Kansas State Wildcats fans, the 54-31 debacle was momentarily erased as we ran around our homes like rats humming the Wabash (or at lest the Best Bros. were). In my opinion, the rest of the Big 12 North is in deep you know what. MU and Nebraska all lose their quarterbacks, leaving things wide open for Bill Snyder, Josh Freeman and the revitalized wildcats.
Beakers, hold on to that hoops National Championship, because the Fatman and his football program are finished.
Stinkels, relish that Big 12 Championship game, because it could be your last for a really long, long, long time. You got your one win, now assume your usual position. Time for the master to come back and bitchslap his apprentice.
Cornhuskers, the purple-tinted nightmares are about to return.
Brent Venables could be coming back to fill a head coach-in-waiting position, and Phil Bennett and others might return as well.
Addicts, is it just me or is the Purple Reign pretty close to being back in full effect overnight? (Today you get the purple!)

adam, adam, adam…my friend, obviously you havent seen Mizzou’s recruits, yes Chase may be gone but there is a young man by the name of Gabbert to take his place. Nebraska fans know who i’m talking about since he verbally committed only to chose Mizzou instead. speaking of Nebraska, i guess you havent realized their new coach Mr. Pelini, they are on their way back to contention. i agree with you about Kansas, they had their one and done…enough said about those pecker faces, so i’ll jump right to the next team Colorado, they will get that program back together soon. Iowa St. is a sad excuse for a Big XII team, i guess every conference needs a punching bag.
GET IT TOGETHER, MIZZOU IS HERE TO STAY!!!
How is KU losing their QB, Reesing is only a junior.
Screw MU and KU
Talk to me when they have a Big 12 Football Championship. Synder has won and he whooped Stoops (best OU team ever) ass to get it.
ask Snyder about the ‘98 Big XII Championship game when KSU was ranked #1 then stand back, his head will soon explode
Actually that was Michael Bishops fault and we all saw what happened to his career after that. At least KSU can say they have played in the game multiple times unlike some other North teams…
I read on ESPN today that Reesing is a senior. Won’t matter anyway…
It’s gonna take more than Snyder..Missouri has had some pretty good recruiting classes lately and even though they are losing some key players, I think they will be alright for a while.
True, true and they signed Pinkel to an extension, but he still has to beat someone in the South when it means something…
I’ll be at Arrowhead on the 7th cheering on the Tigers against whoever they play. Hopefully Pinkel can prove you wrong Zach
Well, first of all, Snyder pretty clearly wanted his job back so bad that he positioned himself in way that allowed him to regularly sabotage Prince, even if it meant losing games along the way. But hey, maybe that’s just your idea of the kind of character and leadership attributes it takes to be a champion.
As far as the Hawks go, Reesing will be back and his starting tackles will no longer be freshman. Do the math. As far as Freeman goes, my bet is that he’ll declare. Sorry Best boys – I sort of doubt that Snyder will be of help much in the immediate future – and beyond that, afraid the Alzheimers will start to set in . . .
I wikied “beat down” the other day and it still defines it is as 52-21.
I looked up Big 12 Football Championships the other day, and Kansas doesn’t have one.
Why the eff would Freeman declare? He didn’t have the season he wanted and one of the game’s most legendary coaches of all time just returned to campus. Sounds like a recipe to be a top five pick next year to me.
He’ll be back, King of Wishful Thinking. He’s not a KU basketball player.
It’s called “Economics” Adam as in “Supply and Demand.” Freeman is a “pro style” QB. He’ll be in demand.
Big 12 Championships? How about how many many National Championships does K-State own? In any major sport? You knew that one was coming . . .
We’re talking about football here. Just like a Beaker to talk hoops before December.
I can damn near guarantee Freeman stays. Just watch.
As always, the only excitement that K-Stater’s have to look forward to during football season will be happening over in the “sheep lot.” Yeah, ewe know what I mean.
