Whitlock is many things, but he is not a homer, especially when it comes to people that are the same color as him. He’s been blasted as a sell-out for being TOO critical of his own race (he was fired from ESPN for criticizing another black writer). People like to say he brings race up too much, and that is certainly open for debate, but to say that he won’t criticize someone because they’re black is entirely off base.

Being unbias, i’d still say the chiefs are currently better than the raiders, bengals, lions, rams, seahawks, and 49ers. Not to mention that if thigpen keeps doing what he’s doing, and the defence gets healthy, i think the chiefs have to be considered in the top half of the league potential wise. Kinda surprised anyone is bashing the chiefs right now. I think that window closed four weeks ago. Sure herm is still an idiot, but aside from that we are definately on an upswing.

Yep, we break news at ArrowheadAddict Randy. I did a little poking around and verified it my own way, and went with it. The only reason it blew up like it did the next day was because Adam and I gave a heads up to several sites. Next time we might wait a tic before blowing our horn. But you’re right, you saw it here first!
