Adam I will just sit here and tell you that really I laugh at you opinion some times. I mean seriously, Michael Vick? And to be honest with you your opinion on Matt Ryan doesn't matter anyways man. He was taken two picks in front of us, and really wasn't worth the risk of jumping up in front of the falcons to take him. don't get me wrong he is doing great but we didn't have a shot at him. And frankly he would be getting destroyed here. Now back to Chiefzilla I completely agree with you. Hall does have talent but he has no class what so ever and that's not what we need to bring in to this young locker room, I mean you want to go to his interceptions I'll point out just in the Broncos game he had two ridiculous penalties that cost them points. The guy is a cancer and I don't care how good he is, cancers ruin teams.

Master,

I think I'll stick with my assessment of Ryan over anyone. No offense, but you were the guy who preferred GB's No. 3 QB, Brian Brohm, to Ryan.

And I agree with Double D that Hall is better than either of our corners. Faster, too.

#1 - The problem here is that you're confusing athleticism with the ability to play. Hall is a good corner. But he has a terrible attitude. He struggles against top receivers because once he blows one coverage, he loses complete focus. Not just a little, I'm talking about a complete meltdown. Often times, he gets so frustrated that he gets tagged with really stupid personal fouls. He gambles way more than he should and gives up a LOT of big plays. That's the story on his playing ability.

#2 - His locker room attitude is horrible. TO/Keyshawn level horrible. The Falcons couldn't wait to get rid of him. One of the great things going for the Chiefs is they have an outstanding locker room. If any of you think signing LJ would be a mistake, double that for Hall

#3 - Hall would be extremely expensive. There's no reason to pay that much money when you have two young corners who are playing outstanding and you have a system that doesn't require much of their CBs

CBs are great to have, but they're not thay important. I would MUCH rather spend huge dough on getting some LBs or defensive linemen. No point in bringing in yet another corner when the front 7 still doesn't do their job.

Hall was in the wrong system (man-to-man). He thrives playing zone.

Who would he replace? Surtain would be at the top of my list.

Dude's a 5 year veteran who's still young (just this side of 25), blazingly fast with 2 pro bowls on his resume. Don't be stupid, just like Moss, Allen, and Woodson, Oakland's high-profile trash is generally somebody else's high-profile treasure. No disrespect to Carr or Flowers but frankly I'd start Hall in a heartbeat over any of our current corners.

Well. Maybe if we can get him cheap. I dunno about the 16 million guaranteed if he gets hurt. I think walk if that crap is included.

Oh and Adam, Dorsey was still the best choice for us over Ryan. With this O-line in place, Ryan would have suffered a separated rectum by the 2nd game. We need a sherman tank at QB right now, not an F-22 raptor. And on that note, how about ole Pigpin? I still cant believe he is getting it done. I say, either snag Bradford (if he declares) in 09, or stick with Pigpen.

I'm still thinking Ray Maligula 1st and Alex Mack 2nd. Try n trade down for Maligula and pick up another 2nd rounder. Its all still in the works though.

Oh...and Yay we got Barth back. He was always my fave. Anyone who looks like Napoleon Dynamite...you gota know hez a clench player..yessss.

Oh...and Mr. Robinson is finally activated. Im dieing to see if he can return balls.

You're right, KCM. I won't play a WR in fantasy against him. Maybe like Boldin or somebody, but he is a shutdown corner if I've ever seen one. Look at Derrick Mason's last three games:

1.) 6 rec, 87 yards, 1 TD
2.) 1 rec, 3 yards
3.) 9 rec, 136 yards, 1 TD

Which game do you think he was matched up against Asomugha? That's another reason why this is crazy. Teams had to go at DeAngelo because going at Nnamdi is suicide. His numbers aren't bad at all either.

I am not against picking up Hall for the right price at this point. My buddy, who is a Raiders fan, was blown away when he heard Hall was getting released. Definitely a "give up" move. Asomugha is an absolute friggin stud, by the way.

Oakland also got rid of Charles Woodson and Randy Moss recently. Remember Marcus Allen? Yeah, they once got rid of him, too.

Hall was playing fine. What I cannot understand is why the Raiders didn't cut Javon Walker instead. That makes absolutely no sense at all, but when do the Raiders make sense?

I don't want Oakland's garbage on my doorstep. Hall was playing so well that Oakland released him. Nice. But no thanks.

People said I had a big name fixation back when I touted Matt Ryan, too, Maine, and we all know how that worked out for them. I just care more about winning than money, which apparently the Chiefs do not.
