AADQ: Chiefs Mid-Season MVP
It doesn’t matter who you vote for, but make sure to make your voice heard today at the polls! We’re going to vote here, too. My mid-season MVP is Dwayne Bowe. I think he’s shown up pretty much every week and kept an extremely positive attitude during what’s on its way to becoming the worst Chiefs‘ season in franchise history.
Who is your Chiefs Team MVP so far?

On offense, I’d say pretty much everybody has turned out to be who we thought they’d be with one big exception – Tyler Thigpen. He’s appears to be the one player so far that’s done the most to dramatically improve this team’s ability to be competitive and score points.
On defense, it’s hard to find anybody I’d consider MVP material at this point. That said, Brandon Carr has impressed me more than anybody.
November 4th, 2008 at 2:34 pmI’d say Dwayne Bowe, but I also have to say Tony Gonzalez. I know he caused a stir a few weeks ago, but he shows up EVERY single game just like D-Bowe does. I’m glad KC didn’t trade him.
November 4th, 2008 at 4:25 pmI go with Bowe. Tony and Bowe are players you want to see succeed because the team needs them AND because they seem like good guys. LJ is a guy that you want to see succeed because the team needs him PERIOD. If he doesnt no big loss get another body in there.
November 4th, 2008 at 8:14 pmBowe has had 2 games where he has had key drops. I feel he has underperformed.
My MVP on offense is Tony Gonzalez. He remains amazing, trade demand or not.
On defense it has to be Brandon Flowers. Team don’t even like to throw his way anymore. Brandon Carr has been rock solid defending the increased attention and you could make a case for him as well.
November 4th, 2008 at 8:30 pmI vote Carl Peterson. He is by far, the most valuable thing to the Chiefs “organization” and someone who can keep a 5 year plan, or charade, (depending on your sensibilities) for 20 years- deserves an award or some sort.
