Treat: Cufflinks.com Chiefs Cufflinks Contest

by Fanzone/Tailgating

As promised, here is the treat to yesterday’s trick…

Our friends over at Cufflinks.com are sponsoring this contest in which we will be giving away four sets of sweet cufflinks.

  1. NFL Officially Licensed Kansas City Chiefs
  2. NCAA Officially Licensed Kansas Jayhawks
  3. NCAA Officially Licensed Kansas State Wildcats
  4. NCAA Officially Licensed Missouri Tigers

To enter the contest follow these instructions in the comments below:

  1. List which team you are going for.
  2. Describe why you became a fan of that team and why you remain one of their biggest fans.

We will review the entries and there will be one winner for each team. These puppies retail at $50 and are very nice. I have a pair of my own that I’ll hopefully get to show off soon. Good luck. The other three sets are pictured after the jump.

CHIEFS

I started to become heavily involved as a CHIEFS fan while I was in the Navy. I was stationed in San Diego and had to endure all of the Chargers fans blast me because I was from Kansas City. Well thanks to Joe Montana I was provided with a little ammunition to fire back with and my blood turned to Red AND Gold. I have been die hard ever since.

I remain a fan because I know of nothing else to be. When the season started, there were many who were looking for surrogate teams and I had thought about it. At the end of the day I could not maintain the same allegiance to any other team than the CHIEFS. I have been a season ticket holder since 2000 when I got out of the Navy and I will continue to be there every Sunday, home or away rooting for my team. I can't think of any better way to spend a day...it helps when they win...but even when they don't I was there. For better or for worse.

CHIEFS sf coarse.

I started watching the Chiefs when Lenny the Cool was still playing. I was born in KC in 1965 but moved to a small town north of Columbia(hence I have been a big Tigers fan just as long)when I was 3. I hooked on to the Chiefs then because KC was my "hometown" you know but the best thing was that through the 70's and 80's I was far enough away that the Chiefs were never blacked out here so I pretty much have watched them and stuck with them through thick and thin my entire life.

Go CHIEFS!

KSU...only the coolest people I know go to that school. I wish I would've gone there myself instead of going to crappy ol' Cal.

They haven't been above 500 in their conference since 2003, but that doesn't affect my undying love for the Wildcats. Plus, Jarrod Cooper went there and played safety (the best position ever). Coop is out of his mind, but he's awesome.

Boom - now I win some cufflinks, right? I totally wear those things all the time...

The ones from last year sold out quick. I'd try eBay, though. Some new ones are probably out now, maybe under a different name.

hey addicts i need some help!!! why cant i find the conflict player hoodies anymore i cant find a chiefs one anywhere!!! i can find like 10 teams!! but not the chiefs one..some one help!!!!

GO CHIEFS!!!
