I don't know how screwed we really are. Look at our offense and defense compared to the Broncos. They are very similar. Except the simple fact that Jay Cutler has proven he can throw and roll out. Our defense causes turnovers, this is simple and it's touch and go with the Bucs offense moving the ball. So if our defense stops the run which is a huge question mark and causes one turnover or gets one big stop and we have field position I see this game being very close. But it all depends on what Thigpen shows up. The Bucs are going to play close to our wide outs and be very physical. If Thigpen rolls out and gives himself time to find the open man we could be coming through this with a W. Let's go D-line and please play like a pro Pat Thomas.

I'd rather us try to run the spread against the Bucs, especially with Jamaal Charles in. He can really open up some big plays with a few screens and all of the coverage following our receivers. We can't control a game with our defense well enough to constantly run the ball. We did have 3 interceptions, but at least 2 of them were in our territory after the Jets dominated us offensively.

I have to admit I didn't even know who Thigpen was before this year and when I found out about him I didn't think he would ever have an oppurtunity to play that much let alone have a game like this one.

I'm just wondering with him looking like our guy for the rest of the year if we are going to see more of a spread style offense somewhat like the ones in college so he has time to make reads and throws. I don't think it would be a bad idea it would also give a better oppurtunity to evaluate the young wideouts as well to see who can get open and make a big play.

My hats off for Thiggy Smalls,,I always thought he had great mobility. Gaileys play calling could of been less conservative, but I thought the QB draw in the 3rd quarter was a good idea had it been devised to roll out instead of up the middle.."what were they thinking?"..Thigpen may not be the QB that Superbowls are won with, but heres a strange idea..Maybe we have been trying to develop the wrong QB the whole time..
