haha, you got to lay off brodie. He’s as injury prone as any other QB is these days. His injuries are just unlucky. No QB has stronger bones or ligaments than any other.

Look at the two hits he took when he was injured. The first one; he took an unblocked shot from a massive defensive lineman and landed right on his shoulder. That would pop most Qb’s shoulder. Look at his one today. A player was holding his legs one way, and he went the other. Any Qb’s would be injured like that. He’s not injury prone, he’s just really unlucky.

Whats the cure you ask? Don’t let our Qb’s get hit. Worry about the O-line before you talk about getting in a new QB. If you draft a 1st round QB, you are just sending him on deathrow and the same thing will happen.

I didn’t watch the game. Can someone fill me in on why we can’t stop the run? :P

At this point, it doesn’t matter if he’s injury prone or just has bad luck. The risk of believing that he just has bad luck is far too high based on his history to put your bets on it.

  3. 3. KCMizzou Says:

As for why we can’t stop the run, I believe that it’s possible that the line is so focused on the fact that they haven’t gotten any sacks, and are pressing the issue. Add the fact that our linebackers are terrible, and you’ve got a recipe for disaster.

Saying Brodie Croyle just has bad luck when it comes to injuries is like saying Pacman Jones is just a good guy who’s always at the wrong place at the wrong time.

    LMAO!

Adam Jones is always at the wrong place at the wrong time.

You see Adam Jones is “pacman”. He’s just an athlete with a big mouth looking for a few dollars on the ground. His life has so many twists and turns, all the while, dealing with so many enemies waiting around the corner. All he is really looking for is a football to play with. When he finally does get on the feild, he’s quick, he’s a dangerous playmaker, and he’s always trying to tackle as many opposing players for more points. But like ‘pacman’, time just catches up with him. Soon, the tables are turned and he is being chased by the commisioner with no way to go.

Now, he’s used up all his lives, he’s broke and is asking his mates for some more quaters. :P

Tim, NFL QBs take hits game in and game out that would put normal human beings in the hospital. Do you remember how many times Trent Green picked himself off the turf after being crushed by some 300 pound ‘roided up freak? You don’t think Brett Favre has ever been sandwiched or had a guy land on top of him? These are not extreme plays that have injured Croyle. These are everyday NFL hits. His body just isn’t built for football.

wow that’s great analysis. Except I remember a month ago when you were saying “I am still a Brodie believer,” in your Stafford articles.

  9. 9. Adam Best Says:

Crane, I think you have Maine confused with Merlin there.

  10. 10. SoutheastChief Says:

You need a Huard action figure and Oline inaction figures. I like Brodie but I am not advocating him and only him for the future. The front office must plan for our future. No quarterback can lead us with our O in it’s present state. So I say let’s find the next Ryan in the next year or year later draft. This offseason we need to go for Losman or some other quality backup who is a free agent.

  11. 11. Eric Crane Says:

    Oh my bad…

  12. 12. Larry27Chiefs Says:

ive never been on the Brokie fan wagon lol.

  13. 13. Larry27Chiefs Says:

we need another Trent Green type QB, in his prime of course though. not later in his career when all he did was Throw Picks and get hurt.
