So far, I'd say Carr has shown himself able to hang with just about anybody. Skillwise, he can improve but that's to be anticipated with any young corner. We have much bigger problems elsewhere - like at MLB and SLB.

If we get a stud 26-year-old corner that is on the outs in Philly it makes a lot of sense. With Carr, Flowers and Lito we'd be set in the secondary. I do think we need more speed back there as well. Lito has that. Our secondary is a lot of things, but those guys aren't burners.

Why would we want to give up any draft picks in any trade scenario involving TG? Makes no sense whatsoever.

What's with the Iron Man bashing, Damage? I'd like to see any other RB rack up 198 yards in one game behind that line.

Anyway, good stuff as always. I do want to point out that Tony G. apparently changed his diet up because of a brief bout with Bell's Palsy. Wrestling and Sooner fans will know what that is because it is the same condition that good ol' Jim Ross has struggled with. Girls will lose their minds, too. I concur.

What about swapping Tony and a third for Lito Sheppard? Makes sense to me.

from the star comments - This story is ridiculous. There is NO WAY LJ was pushing his way through a night club. He can't even push his way for a 3 yard gain when he has 5 300 pound men in front of him. This story is obviously ficticious (sic).

"oh and fyi- LJ “pushed the girl in the head” as he walked by, not slapped her. For the record."

He needs to save the stiff arm for Tennessee. He's gonna need it.

Thanks for the comments guys, Hammer- that's mostly my point. No draft choice will replace him, but a 1st would make us feel all warm and tingly.

Woody- I just wanted to list the FAs that are out there for next year as we could use Tony to get our hooks in, and yeah, Shockey is younger, but Tony is the superior player to Shockey...doesn't that count for anything? In my opinion, Tony would play one year more for us and quit at this rate...for another team, he could play for 3-5 years easily. He's in great shape and not injury prone. Kellen Winslow played til he was 40+ didn't he?
