He is ours. He is the number one hero we have in a Chiefs uniform. He IS the best teacher and mentor for ALL of the rookies, not just the receiving corps. I want him to win in the playoffs and get a SB ring in respect to him, but it better be as a Chief! I would get sick to my stomach seeing him take any other team to the SB, while we are building up to get there. He can coach, be our hero, and be the proud face of our organization for a few more years. So what if he starts to decline, he can still be productive. He will retire when he wants to, but in 2 or 3 years, we will be just as strong and contending for the title as any team. And while we are at it why doesnt my employer send me to a company that will hire me to search the world for the finest wines, the tastiest steaks, and the most beautiful and accomodating women and then write a book about it? Ive been with them twenty years, they owe it to me! Of course their position is we paid you all that money for twenty years now we need your experience to train the new hires.
