It'd be better to use the pick on an MLB top prospects, rather than a lineman with a high first rounder. Mostly all first-round O-lineman prospects are LT's. We are set at LT, both with Albert, and Taylor. So we really need a RT, and should we choose to draft a Tackle that high, they'll want LT money for playing the right side. That's just a hold-out/headache waiting to happen. We can pick up a decent FA RT, probably, or pick up a starting RT later on in the draft, and still be A-ok.

I think our biggest hole is still Offensive Line. I want one of the 5 or so first round prospects. If we have two great tackles we are set and we can move Sackintosh to Guard or something. I think we either address OL or MLB via free agency and use our 1st rounder on the other.

Hey, Webb made a pretty big catch against the Donks!

Will be curious as well to see how well/if K-Throb can contribute after coming off PUP.

I agree about the long-term TE situation.

I wouldn't mind the Kolby Smith for Dennis Dixon (and possibly a late round choice) trade going through. We could use Dixon much like Seattle uses Seneca Wallace, as a backup QB and a WR/H-back. I really doubt he'll ever be a starter in the league, but hey, he can't be worse than Thigpen, eh?

We're not drafting Chase Daniel with our first rounder. Case closed. If he lasts till the third or so, I could see us jumping, if he continues to play well, I might even say second rounder, MIGHT. But to say we should pick him with a high pick in the first round is ridiculous. Same with Freeman.

We need an infusion of young LB's. We already have DJ, and Demorrio doesn't look too terrible, so that mostly leaves an MLB to be desired. When you think Maualuga or Laurinitus, think Patrick Willis/Lofa Tatupu-lite. If they can have even close to the same impact that either of those two have had, we'll be set there for years.

At this moment, I'd say MLB is our greatest weakness, followed closely by WR. Darling has been a major disappointment thus far, as has Webb. Franklin and Robinson haven't played much due to injury, so the jury is still out. With the possibility looming that Tony G. retires, or worse; demands a trade, we need more than just D-Bowe to keep our QB's afloat. He'd be double-covered more than T.O., Anquan, and Randy Moss combined. Speaking of Tony G. possibly leaving, we need to think about TE's. Cottam is good, but like I said, injuries go hand-in-hand with him. We need a consistent TE, even if it's not at the same level as Tony. That needs to be taken care of in the next couple of years.
