Leader In A Dubious Clubhouse

I just got e-mailed this from the fellas over at Bodog:

Which team will have the #1 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft?

Kansas City                  3/2

St. Louis                       7/4

Detroit                           5/2

Cleveland                      10/1

Cincinnati                      12/1

Houston                        15/1

Other                            3/1

Looks like I’m not the only one who thinks the Chiefs are the leader in the clubhouse in our race with the Rams towards the No. 1 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Both teams are terrible, but the difference is that we play in the AFC West, not the NFC West.

Since all we have seen is the bare minimum of a hint of a spark from the offense, I can only surmise the chiefs are probably the front runners at this point in the race for the number one pick. Looking at the remainder of the schedule, it is hard to find a team we might conceivably have a chance of defeating. I hate to say this, but there may be a very real possibility that we could see a perfect 0-16 season.
